How I loved you since the first time

I held you and smelt you

Don’t even remember the date and place

But you entrenched my heart n soul.

Didn’t know your name or natives

But everywhere I searched for you

And you had been there at all significant places

I don’t know how!!

Quite later a dear friend mentioned, your place is called the temple tree

And I was wondering how beautiful will your name be

I found your English name and it was kind of regular

Yes frangipani, it didn’t exude love for that matter!

Years later I am at a place where you are so popular

Fragrant n beautiful, just the same

Folks here call you by sweet two syllables

And i kind of love that Chafa is thy name!!

Save soil

Had I been a profound singer or a dancer

There were chances that I could have met you.

Had I been a celebrity, nothing could have stopped me from coming near to you

But then I felt it, when you said ‘ I ll be with you in ways that you may never know’

And I have been feeling so, since the seventh day of inner engineering.

This story dates back to last quarter of 2016, when you showed up as an answer to my question

And then this love grew and grew

And at this point of time, not much questions are left, I m at peace.

I am at peace that you are there to show us the way

You can see what we can not see

And God, your guts and wit and wisdom

Are overwhelming, unmatchable, unthinkable.

You are on a mission now to save the soil

I bow to you with my heart and soul

And pray that the child in you

Never get to see any denial on your journey.
